1- What was the reason for having the II National Consultation?
To gather and listen to and consult with migrant farmworkers/rural immigrants about their issues, worries, needs, dreams, and plans for better life.

The II National Consultation was a project of CMFN - Catholic Migrant Farmworkers Network - which in turn, is an agency of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

- The participants shared their reality and discussed emerging need.
- The entire group drew up Recommendations and Resolutions which will be shared with the Catholic Church and the wider community.
- Three farmworkers participants were elected to the CMFN Board of directors.
- There were times to pray together; there were also times to relax together.

4- When is the III National Consultation?
The First National Consultation was held in 1996; the planning for the Second Consultation began in 2002. A time period of at least ten years is envisioned before the next National Consultation.
